This place is big so there is never any trouble finding a spot. One time I came here the waitress lost my credit card when she went to run it, so that sucked.

First time ever visiting a hooters, have always heard mixed reviews of the food. When we arrived there weren't many patrons so I expected service to be up to par, the decor lives up to the hype TVs ass and titties everywhere. I ordered my food prices aren't that great for the food you receive, I ordered the hot wings and chiptole wings. I did like the size of the wings, what I was dissatisfied about was that the server delivered the wrong order and also the hot wings didn't have any sauce on them, what's the point of ordering hot wings with no HOT sauce, also my chipotle wings didn't taste garlicky or peppery like promised on the menu, but im sure it was due to server error...I also did enjoy the 22 oz of Stella on tap. The reasons I came to the famed hooters was very disappointing and I don't think I will ever give them my business, go at your own risk!

Got to this location at around 3:30 in the afternoon. There were only a dozen people at best in the whole place. I ordered a regular hooters burger along with a tall beer. 30 minutes later my burger comes out. Really? 30 minutes to cook a burger Med/well? The tall beer I got was on sale due to Happy hour. Burger was OK. Waitress was nice. I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat here again though.

Been coming to this hooters for a while...never had a bad experience, just tried their new potato skins... Fiyaaaa, you have to try these and ask for Katey, she's the best server there

Better than your average Hooters, food was good, especially liked the fried pickle chips and service was excellent - waitress ran me through every possible combination of wings/sauces available. Would go back for sure.

We stopped by after the wife got off work for a drink and some wings. It has been a while since being in a Hooters for me. I arrived and my wife had all ready been seated and had her drink. The waitress arrived soon after I sat and took my drink order. The service was very good and pleasant. We tried to order the fried pickles for an appetizer but were informed that they were out of pickles, this is one of our favorite appetizers, so we were bummed. Instead of the pickles, mozzarella sticks were order, which were quite good! I ordered the boneless wings and they were the typical good flavored Hooters classic taste. We also ordered the loaded tots for an accouterment, all I can say is you can't go wrong with tater totes. It was a pleasant experience and will return at some point.

I was in the area here last week for a late lunch on Friday. I sat at the bar area and the bartender was marvelous. I had 10 wings with (if I remember correctly) a Thai chili sauce that was delicious. It's been a while since I had been to a Hooters and although the food and the service was good, nowadays that I am a father of a teen daughter, I felt awkward with waitresses in skimpy outfits who are far closer to her age than to mine...LOL. That being said, it was a great visit, I just don't know how soon I'll return.

I honestly love Hooters. I've been coming here since I was kid, and have rarely switched up my order: curly fries, wings (with bone, duh. Usually Medium and 9-1-1's these days), celery and bleu cheese, and drink varies. I'm not going into detail, most people know what the Hooters' atmosphere is like: classic Hooters memorabilia, beachy look, sports on the TV's, the usual. The waitresses here are generally so nice and good. It's not like when you go to the Tilted Kilt where you are more likely to get some stuck-up, self-absorbed flirt as your server (sorry to put down another business, but seriously), the women who work here just seem to be kind (I hope it's what you look for in your servers). Also, unlike the Kilt, the uniforms here aren't over the top, but are more of that beachy feel-- they cover. My general meal order above is always good. Sometimes the 9-1-1's are hotter than others, but I do enjoy them every time, and oh those delicious fries.... I think I've ordered something else before... a few years ago... I don't remember it... lol. Good place for sporting games, there are lots of TV's both in the dining area and bar. This is probably my favorite location, unless you go to Florida, everyone must try Hooters at least once in Florida :)

Hooters is Hooters so I won't do a fully review. This is noting a change... WHAT IS UP WITH THE WINGS?? I've been going to Hooters for 25 years. I lived through the scrawny wing fiasco but this? This won't do. Y'know how with the wings there's like the "drumstick" and the "wing?" ...and the wing has that little non-edible tip that is good to hang on to while you remove the bones and then enjoy a wonderful mouthful of nothing-but meat and flavor? It's gone. That little tip is gone. Now you're reduced to nibbling around the bones like a beaver with nothing to hold. Strips the pleasure out of eating them. I hope this is a temporary glitch. ...Like the non-edible wing tips are being sent to public schools to satisfy some nonsensical governmental intrusion into school lunches that will be abolished as soon as reason returns... ...because for now I'm done. C'mon...25 years of eating Hooters? I'm reaching an age when it doesn't sit as well as it used to so I've gotta want it. ...and I don't if it's hard to eat.

Overall I think it's average. I think this location has fallen flown and they rely too much on their brand name however tilted kilt has risen whilst hooters stayed stagnant. Their wings are mediocre, I'll keep mine from other locations based on the price average. You will experience waitresses talking to other tables especially more male dominant longer and just stop by you briefly when I've gone with my girlfriend. It is what it is I prefer brick house down the block their burgers are beefier and larger selection of drinks.

This place is horrible. They never get the order right. Lost my business, i will never go back.

This is my favorite hooter's. Today we had the BBQ shrimp, 50 wings 911 and bbq, Curly Fries, tots and Diet Coke because we're on a diet. Amber was our server and she was wonderful! Someone Clogged the toilet. It was probably Bill that guy has wings and dumps within seconds.

Severs have attitude and managers don't care about customer Input and just laugh about bad service.out of all hooters I have ever been to I will never be back to this location which is sad I have been customer of this location for years

I am usually a healthy eater, but when a craving for a greasy food hits, this is a place to go. I usually have a take out, and this time what I found in the bag when I got home was just nasty. The napkins and outside of the boxes were all covered in oil.

This is a traditional Hooter's establishment. If you've been to one before, you probably know what you are in for. This location is fairly large and there is plenty of seating. They have quite a few flatscreens throughout the restaurant for all of the sports on TV. The employees are very friendly. The food is good. The wings are a fan favorite across the nation. They are breaded and good. The sauce is delicious. This is a great place for wings and watching sports. I'd recommend it for everyone looking to do either of those.

Stopped here for a quick bite last night, and we had a great time. Boneless wings were cooked perfectly, chicken caesar salad super tasty, cold beer and a perfectly mixed drink. What made the night extra fun was we had a great waitress (Stephanie) who was gracious enough to honor a coupon we had forgotten at home. So great service from the staff was a star! Although still not a big fan of chain restaurants, I have found each time we go here we have been happy with all aspects of our visit. Plus their was a great basketball game on! Nice afternoon/early evening. See y'all next time!

My friends and I would switch off with Hooters and Bowling on Friday nights senior year of High School and the summers after. I actually enjoy this restaurant. We'd get the mild bbq wings which were always delicious. Then we'd sit in awe of our friend who would only get two fingers dirty while eating them. We'd also get the curly fries, yummy, and once the fried pickles. Only two of us liked them, but that's because everyone else didn't want to try them. Also, their wetnap packs have funny sayings on them, so we'd battle to see who got what... and then we'd steal them back if we didn't like what we got. So all in all, the wings are yummy, it's great for people watching, and it's not expensive.

Three mile island, pitchers of beer, and ok French fried make a good time. Service varies on the waitress, but I don't think they are getting a degree in waitressology. Music - meh, not great at all.

Gross. This was my first time to a Hooters and I was really excited b/c I have heard nothing but great things about their wings. So I ordered some, and when I was about to bite into my third wing, I noticed a feather sticking out of it. I called the waitress over and when I pointed it out to her she said "Gross!" and went and told the manager. When she came back she told me "he said it happens all the time." So I Googled it, and apparently it does. Ummmm..... yuck. I won't ever go back.

It's about time Hooters had a traditional bar, rather than overlooking a bunch of friers. The wings are huge and the sauces are good. I wish they could expand their sauce ranges, it would help against their competition. I prefer the TMI sauce and the order of 6 wings, it's the perfect amount so I don't have 10 wings to eat. The best part is the blue cheese, of all the chicken wing places, they have the best.

  • Finch M.

The service here has really taken a hit the last year. This is more on the side of quality of the service and not the waitress appearance (although that used to be better as well). Anyhow, they need to get this place back in line. They are now competing against multiple Tilted Kilts, Show-Me's, Brickhouse's, etc. Bottom line - your service really stinks lately and your girls can't compete with the revealing outfits from these other places...please give me a reason to come here???

Hooters has the best wings! I love the medium or hot with blue cheese, and the honey thai chili pepper (or whatever they call it since it's not listed on their menu online). Their seafood, like the mahi mahi sandwich, isn't bad either, but I'd stick with the wings until Lent comes back around and the delicious fish tacos are back to being served.

Beer and wings pretty much sums it up

I love this Hooters! I love their wing sauce, especially the three mile island. I tried their grilled chicken quesadillas for the first time. The absolute best quesadilla I have ever had in my entire life and I order quesadillas from a lot of places. The quesadillas are big and full of ingredients, and no additional charge for the additional sides. They just come with it.

I prefer the O'hare location, idk why but the wings are better there. This location is still ok though, I've had the burger also & its pretty good. Servers are always nice. Good for lunch time, it's not too packed and they have specials.

If you are old or you've seen old reruns of The Partridge Family, perhaps you remember the episode where Keith thought this really hot girl was a songbird when in fact she sang like nails on a chalk board. I think this may be the case with Hooter. The babes are so hot you think everything is hunky dorey. I attended a "dirty old man" 70th birthday party for a family friend last night. The food was actually very good for a large group. The oysters were really fresh, the crab legs were good, even the cesar salad rocked. I can make better wings and they were soggy so I will take the previous reviewers advise on special ordering. Problem was this was a party for app 50 people and they didn't take the dirty dishes away.. I mean they were stacked up for at least an hour. It was kind of a buzz kill. Besides that the staff was great.

I usually don't write reviews, but I just got the worst service that I have ever received at any restaurant. Here it goes: When I got there, there was no host/hostess. It took several minutes to get seated and there was nobody ahead of me. This was about at 9 PM on a weekday, it was not busy. The only reason I went here is because my house smelled like oven cleaner and I had to eat out, carry out would not do. Anyways, after I got seated, it took forever for my waitress to get to my table. It took so long, I seriously thought about just leaving and going to Portillos, but it was too late. When she got to my table I ordered immediately and said to drink I just wanted water. Since I was sitting right next to the drink station (where the cash register and stuff is) you wouldn't think it would take long, would you? Well, it did. So, after I finally got my water, the waitress was standing by the station talking to another waitress. She was so wrapped up in conversation she didn't notice that my food was ready and was sitting at the counter. Several minutes later, another waitress brought it to me. For some reason, she brought me soup in addition to my order and I wanted to get my waitress' attention because I didn't want to get charged for it since I didn't order it in the first place. Even though I was sitting 5 feet away from where she was standing, she didn't even know I was trying to get her attention because she was so wrapped up in conversation. I had to get up, leave my table, and walk over 5 feet to tell her my order was wrong. Fast forward - I'm done eating and want my check. This time, my waitress was leaning on the bar watching TV and chatting on-and-off with another customer (as opposed to be engrossed in conversation like she was with the other waitress). She looks at me and I raised my hand to show I wanted her to come over so I could get the check and finally leave that dump of a restaurant, but she completely ignored me and kept watching TV. Bull shit. So, another waitress was sweeping the floor by me so I asked her to get my check since my waitress was not attentive to say the least. And I should mention that my waitress was not the slightest bit apologetic about the fact that she was talking to her coworkers instead of doing her job. It seemed deliberate since not only did she not care, but she blatantly ignored me when she was watching tv. I used to go to school right by here years ago, and the service was way better back then. Back then, NOBODY would have been that rude. The service has gone downhill to the point where nobody should go here anymore. I know I wont.

i must have women on the mind today..because this place definitely does not deserve 3 stars....but this location is the best of all the ones that i have visited..so today because i am possibly in a good mood...im gonna give hooters 3 stars.. theres only one way to go here...a pitcher of beer, your appetizer is wings (hot)...mattering the amount of people your with for how many wings to get...then for your main meal a chicken sandwich of your choice..often my friends go with the fried chicken sandwich..but i think the grilled is a better option after rockin all those wings...after you are done..make sure you are in minutes of a bathroom.. either way...after all the new wing places poppin up all over the world...i think hooters has lost some of its pizazz....but is still an ok place to watch a game, or just hang with the boys for a dinner..the girls are not as good lookin as they use to be..but hey..they are still pretty cute

what's not to love? i work close, we've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. it does get pretty packed at lunch, you might have to wait with a group. wing purist always bash hooter's, because they're "breaded and greasy", yeah, exactly, that's the point. try this, next time you go, order drums only, double dipped, cooked extra. they will understand, and they taste even better!

I have been to better Hooters before (I am kind of making it a point to visit one every time I go on vacation). Their wings are inconsistent with the hotness.

I've only been to this Hooters and the one in Schaumburg, and while the one in Schaumburg is not bad, this one is my preference. For some reason the taste is just better here. I also prefer the set up better here.

"Oh my god so bad today October 13. Over 50 minutes between order and a cold hamburger with stale bun and unmelted cheese (so small) cold food for all 3 of us. Quality of food was poor, service worse, and no reason to go back. There are so many better places to go don't waste your time much better burgers and fish down the road between half and one mile. Really a part of my life I want back.

The Downers Grove location is our go-to spot when we have a taste for cold beer & good wings. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. The seating area is really spacious, so rarely do you have to wait for a table. Good spot to bring kids; it's rather loud, so you don't have to shush them constantly.

Really good wings, but that is about it. The rest of the food is ok, and usually the girls are ok, nothing great though!

What can I say that we already do not know about Hooter's. Their food and store offerings are the same everywhere. What's different here is that it's always hella busy. Families, couples, singles; everyone is here and you can usually get a table without too long of a wait even on game nights. Upon entering the dining room area is to the right and the bar is to the left. I wondered about times and age restrictions, we were in here pretty late and sat at the bar. Also in the bar area there was a birthday party in progress with the parents at one table and over fourteen kids sitting at the next. All kids elementary school age and more boisterous then the adults at the bar! Weird. More about Hooter's of DG: Free Wi-Fi as long as you fill out a page long of information, how silly. This place was built for the pleasure of looking at women and sports. Their bar is lined with flat screen after flat screen, my buddy gasped at the number of screens within the bar and lined up against the walls. If they played different sports on each TV your mind could get too excited from overload. The Hooter's ladies seemed to be of the cookie cutter variety, most are in their early years with a tiny frame and of a size 0 or negative. You know that typical young, petite, cute like a doll look. Some guys love this and I know my buddy who is older than me, loved it and plans to return soon. If you love Hooter's stop going to your typical locations, make the drive and check this spot out. There are 17 Hooter's locations in IL, I'd say this one ranks in the top 5 for looks and customer spend.

I have been a fan of this Hooters for the last few years. This restaurant is between work and school, so when I am on my way to work from school I stop in to chase away the numbing effect that academic experiences can have on the cerebral cortex. This afternoon I had a turkey burger, clam chowder, and a slice of cheesecake. The food was fine, but the most outstanding experience today was my interacting with my server. Her name is "DeeLee." "DeeLee" was SOOO cool! She wants to be a motivational speaker. To tell the truth, she could motivate an army to conquer Isis in a week! They would call it, "Operation Desert DeeLee." It would go down in all of the history books as the greatest military conquest in US History! Isis wouldn't stand a chance! She was so much fun, her customers were falling in love with her charisma. She was respectful, fun, bright, and full of happiness that radiated to all of her clients who will no doubt become long term fans. DeeLee is the only server that asked me, "When are you coming back?" when I was about to leave. I have never had a server ask that question! The Hooters in Downers Grove is always an upbeat place to grab a good meal served by a happy staff. Today's experience was FIVE STAR!!! DeeLee ROCKS!!! -Harry originalhooters.com/loca…

Sometimes you get Togo orders and you're disappointed, then there's times when you are happier than a pig in......well you get the point. Unfortunately Hooters is hit or miss. Sometimes they get it right, other times they blow it like the French in a war, like a jock on a test, like a..... Again, you get the point. We'd order here every Thursday for months, order the exact same thing and when we get home the same thing is never in our bags. They forget the extra sauces you pay for, sometimes there are too few wings in your order, and it's always a surprise if you're gonna get fries or tore. Most times you just roll with it because these girls weren't hired for their brains I'm afraid to say, and other times you are too annoyed to keep paying for and dealing with mediocrity. All that being said, the wings are pretty good.

  • Cunwang C.

They have big screens for the games. This place is more organized compared with the one in downtown Chicago. Service is better too. However, they do not check on you often and tend to assume you are either talking with your friend or staring at the TV screen. We want ice cold beer, not ice cold service, or experience.

I really like Hooters. The food is good for a sports bar-ish place. There is variety in the choices. The drinks are pretty inexpensive. My 4 year old boy loves how the servers fawn all over him....he also likes their short shorts.

Enjoy your location, and Christina great service at the bar on Saturday. great service and smile will keep me coming back time after time. Good food, sports and drinks. See ya soon.

I'm being generous by giving this place 2 stars... We were seated on uncomfortable wooden stools right by the door. We had a large group and our waitress spent time with half the table and didn't even get to the other half until we had to wave her down. We also were made to wait over 30 minutes for fries, and 4 orders of wings! If this place specializes in wings, it should focus more on timeliness of orders...

  • Kavi P.

In the end, it's all typical bar food. I'd say it's a good place to watch sports and order drinks. Some good sauce choices for wings. Service was decent. Good place to hang out with people.

We all know what Hooter's is all about: Attractive women in shorts and tight shirts serving beer and wings to horny men who think they have a shot. That being said, this Hooters was the first Hooters that I ever went to and for some reason is still my favorite, some 20 years later. This is a huge Hooters restaurant, much bigger than most that I've been to. The service here is always good and of course the view is great.

This Hooters location seems to be a bit more to my liking than others I have visited. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We were able to redeem a coupon for free fried pickles with no problems. The food was tasty and the beers were thirst quenching. I would definitely come back here.

I go to Hooters because I enjoy the wings. The service is usually decent but not at this one especially their bartender(who's short and Latina looking). I was there on a Saturday couple months ago and one thing I noticed about her is she's only friendly to certain people but if she doesn't know you she doesn't provide you the service that makes you feel appreciated for coming in. It wasn't the first time I've had her. I don't care about how a waitress looks, I go in for good food and great customer service. Better off just going to Tilted Kilt.

    (1)
  • Carly H.

I just ordered take out. Nothing worse than ordering take out just to find out when you get home that the order is wrong. You kind of forgive them because the wings are so darn good. I really think Hooters is trying to overcome its ditzy stigma with its higher quality food and service. Just get the order and you're good.

Uh no!!!! I had a salad and the chicken strips in the salad was so hard and turrible...it scraped the mess out of the roof of my mouth. I felt like i was eating captain crunch cereal all day!! Not to even mention trying to swallow each bite!! Was like swallowing a whole ice cube (one of the worst pains ever i might add) It must have been a bad day for that chicken because I did not expect that!!

Ask for Elowisa. I frequent a lot of Hooter all across the country since my job requires travel. Only 2 things matter... when you get a waitress and she has a good manager.... you get good Hooters food. This Hooters I will come back everytime I come to town. Great experience.

  • Danny M.

This is by far my favorite Hooters to come to. It is not the closest, but the wings here are much better than the Downtown location. I used to love Hooters, but after a bad experience at the Downtown location, I find myself going there less and less. On the other hand, this one also have a huge parking lot so I will make the drive out here. We always get the Lots of Tots to start out. For the wings, we like Chipotle BBQ, 3 Mile Island, Spicy Garlic. Can't go wrong with any of them!

    (4)
  • Nichole C.

You know, I used to LOVE Hoots wings and curly fries (or tots, don't forget the tots!) but lately I am not feeling them. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Hot and TMI sauces (or Three Mile Island for those of us who remember the name before they douched it up) but comparably, Wing Stop has better fries and bleu cheese and Buffalo Wild Wings has better sauces so I typically visit those joints instead. I will say that this location is the best out of the three around me, and there are some things that you can't beat at Hooters: cheap ass crab legs, variety (it's not just wings!), the fact that there is peanut butter pie on the menu, and the Hooter's seasoning is the bomb. If my man didn't consider this "comfort food" (yes, you read that right) I probably wouldn't stop here as much...

I was there recently with a friend of mine to watch a Chicago Bulls game. The Bulls lost unfortunately, but the food and the service definitely made up for it. I highly recommend Gabrielle, (hopefully I spelled that correctly) as our service was excellent and prompt!!! 911 wings are the best.

    (5)
  • Jennie K.

I have only and always will get their crab legs. It's cheap and good, what more can you ask for. We are not a fan of the chicken. Drinks, seafood (surprising ) and burgers are good

Being female, you'd think I wouldn't like Hooters cause well you know! But I love coming here!! The food is excellent (especially your new blackened wings!!!), the wait is never terrible and service is great. Especially Katey! My boyfriend and I always ask to sit in her section and really only go when we know she's probably working.

  • Paul W.

This location tends to be hit or miss. Usually its the service that's bad, but this time out, both the food and service was terrible. I was pleased, at first, because the server offered me tots. I never knew was an option before. I love tots almost as much as I love good buffalo wings. Unfortunately, the tots were bland and dry. The same goes for the wings. They both tasted like they'd been fried in day-old oil and left to dry in the sun for a few hours. I expect more from Hooters. I have had good wings at Hooters in the past, which is the reason I come back. What almost redeemed the bad food was a good server/bartender named Michelle. I usually sit at the bar since I come in alone, but I've noticed that I get an icy reception when I don't order alcohol. That wasn't true this time. Michelle was friendly and smiled each time we spoke. I realize that a lot of folks would come here regardless of the food, but I'm not one of them, so a cheery smile goes a long way with me. She even returned several times to check up on me - almost unheard of when you're at the bar and not drinking! Unfortunately, as I finished my meal, Michelle went on break and some other female took over. Half an hour after I finished my meal, she finally came by to give me my check. Thank god I had cash, because I'd hate to imagine how long it would take for her to swipe my credit card. She was too busy fawning over the young, tan, muscular boys buying beers at the other end of the bar. I have had good service from other Hooters locations (Schaumburg mall, for example), but I will never visit this location again. I will stick to Buffalo Wild Wings when I have a taste for wings.

Buffalo Shrimp is enough to make me a loyal fan. Fantasic! Service is never anything exceptional. Pretty girls playing with their hair, not friendly to woman customers. Sorry you can't flirt a tip out of my wallet, but if you do your job, I'll tip you well.

The food isn't the best but when your hungry, you'll eat whatever. But it sure didn't sit well with me. Maybe it was the spicy sauce. I don't come here often but when I do, I only order the wings and fries. The crowd is lively and the staff are nice as always.

The food is good, the drinks are good. Two turn offs about this location: The women's bathroom has mold growing behind the sink. The waitresses are nice, but aren't natural looking.

This Hooters has really come a long way the past year or two. Staff has been pleasant and the food/drink menu has also improved. They normally have a solid bar staff working - especially weekdays. Weekend nights could use a friendlier pair behind the bar. Overall, much improved.

Meh. Strange waitress. She was efficient, friendly, etc. but made odd faces and hopped around a bit when waiting on us. Maybe that is considered sexy to some??? Food order was slow but I don't believe it was her fault. Encountered two young girls (in their 20s?) on the way out of the restroom and one was taking her top off while the two giggled about it. Weird place as far as I'm concerned. Not worth going back to.

As a Hooters connoisseur (hey, I go for the wings 'n things), I prefer this location out of the three in the area. I live smack-dab in the middle so the distance between this location, the one in Schaumburg, and in Melrose Park. It's a lot more open since they remodeled a few years back, and it has plenty of flat screens for your sports viewing pleasure. Now the last few times the host area has not done well- not getting greeted is not a pleasant start; however, I have always received excellent service both at the bar and tables. Onward and upward to the food! They have fried pickle chips, and they're GIVING them away recently if you report on your previous experience: the offer is at the bottom of your receipt (offers change every so often). They also have some new sauces for their wings: sweet honey thai chili, smoked cherry, and one or two others. I always go for the 911 sauce which is basically cayenne based then smother them again with the hot sauce in the bottles at the table. Then I add a bunch more to the bleu cheese sauce making it a light-red color. Oh, their crab legs are phenomenal both in taste and price. $12.99 gets you a pound of Snow crab, $19.99 for a pound of King. Now don't just crack and eat those things!! Dust them with the seasoning salt at the table and make sure to eat them with your hands! Sure, your hands will smell like fish and garlic for a few days, but it's damn worth it.

I come for cheap crabs legs when they have the special but that's all that can get me into this place. The whole company needs a serious face-lift.. no pun intended. The crabs legs are normally pretty cold and really salty but for the price, I dig in and thus give 2 stars. Service is sometimes good and sometimes weak. Wings were soggy and felt like they just tossed them into a microwave last time we were here. The whole 'Hooters' thing just feels like your stuck in the 80's or early 90's when your here.. doesn't get me nostalgic, just makes you feel kinda sleazy.

Seems like this Hooters upgraded their talent in the last couple years. You have been to Hooter's before, so there isn't much you haven't already heard about the general experience. This one is on the better side of the Hooter's spectrum. Better than it used to be about 3-4 years ago. Happy that they now have decent beer and a full bar. It is probably not a good idea to order the fish sandwich that they have to chip off the bottom of the refrigerator with a hammer.

Customer Service Crapshow. Stopped in for lunch the other day en route to Fry's. Hostess blurts out "You'd like a table right and stars walking away before I have a chance to holler "no thanks, bar is fine" to the back of her head. She turns around and says "fine", so I seat myself at the bar. 13 minutes go by, and the bartender didn't once bother looking away from the TV long enough to notice that I was sitting there ready to give them profits. I know it was 13 minutes because after about 5, I started passing the time by counting. I got up, left, and went to Buona Beef across the street instead. I'm not sure they noticed. Hopefully they notice this review. Ugh.

i love hooters! good chicken wings served by hot chicks(sometimes).... i go this hooters ALOT because i think they make the best wings. By far this is my favorite hooters to go to, the flavor is there and the breading is perfect. This and the one by woodfield is the only two locations i go to and this is pretty far from me.. the 3 nearest locations to my house is just horrible and not worth going..

I used to dine at this location quite frequently. I used to be in this area a lot because I used to go to school and worked near there. My first time eating here was in 1994. I vividly remember I ate a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, curly fries, and drank a glass of Diet Coke. I felt it was a great lunch. Although it was messy with the green peppers and a large amount of the cheesesteak falling off, I thought the sandwich was delicious. Having curly fries for the first time was a tremendous alternative to the typical french fries. The first visit, I recall, was pretty intimidating since it's a restaurant that was cutting edge at the time with the vociferous music, the festive atmosphere, and the predominantly female workers. I liked the display of various television monitors. The Philly Cheesesteak became one of my favorite items that I had it numerous times at this location as well as at the Hooters here in Columbus, Ohio before they closed. My other favorite entrees, unfortunately, no longer are served at Hooters. They are the pasta salad, the Grilled Mahi Sandwich, and the Grouper Cousin Sandwich. The sandwichs I felt were superb. They were unique and delicious. I ordered these sandwiches a lot during the late 90's. Along with the cheesesteak sandwich, the pasta salad was another favorite. I think I had this item the most. I like eating pasta salad very much. I thought the Hooters version was excellent since it consisted of sliced chicken, tomatoes, a cup of sauce you can pour on, and lemon. In dining at the Hooters restaurants in Columbus, I continued to have either a pasta salad or a Philly Cheesesteak. In addition, I had the New England Clam Chowder or the chilli as the appetizer and the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. They were first rate. It's neat that the workers get to wear athletic shoes although they could wear flip flops nowadays to keep up with the times. But some of them looked great wearing the old white Reebok Hi-top Freestyle shoes. They could've double tied their shoestrings since the laces of their Reeboks were long, and touched the floor. But the female employees are very affable, perhaps, the nicest people you'll meet in a restaurant. There was one who used to work at this location. She never served me, but because we're both Filipino, she had an interest in being friendly to me and talking to me a little bit. I recall she said hi to me a few times and talked to me a little bit. There was another girl who served me and did have a conversation with me. It was good to hear that she was a college student at the time. It was a nice chat. I also chatted a little bit with another girl at one of the Columbus restaurants who was attending Ohio State. It goes to show that not all females are about looks. But I never really had conversations with the other employees. They were either busy with their jobs or busy chatting with other male patrons who were just there for the drinks. It could get aggraviating if one female has a good time talking to a group of males and you're not partaking in the conversation. An example of this occurred at this location in 2003. I was eating at the bar. The lady and a group of guys were chatting about American Idol. I recall it got irritating when the girl was singing and the guys were persuading her to audition for the popular TV show. I attempted to ignore them and focused on eating, but I couldn't stand it. Once I finished my meal, I paid for my food, and left immediately. The service was sporadic. Some of the girls were professional. They placed the plate and silverware right away for me and gave me the check immediately. They were very sincere when they wrote on the check for thanking me for coming and drawing a heart or a smiley face. That brighten up my day. Other times, it took a long time for the other girls to give me the plate, silverware, and check, and to take the money. My final visit to this Hooters in 2006 was disappointing. I remember I ordered curly fries to go along with the main entree. I never received the fries. I didn't get to tell my server at the bar that I didn't get the fries because she was busy. It was on the bill, but I told my server I didn't get the fries, so it was removed. Shortly after that visit, I moved here to Columbus, Ohio. Despite the disappointment of not getting the fries, I would've still eaten at this location had I not moved. I would dine at this location again if I do visit the area. I have dined at various Hooters locations in Ohio before they closed. I last ate in one in late 2011. The service in these restaurants in Columbus were top notch. The ladies here worked very hard in providing me the best service. One of them was kind in offering me a Hooters T-shirt, which I accepted. It was the first and only T-shirt I have. I'll alway perceive Hooters as a good, iconic eatery.

What can I say, for a Hooters, and I've been to about 9 of them, it was solid. I had some boneless wings with the thai sauce and some onion rings. I think the chain has high consistency and is predictably good. I don't usually eat dinner at 10:45pm but it was still pretty busy.

I am usually a healthy eater, but when a craving for a greasy food hits, this is a place to go. I usually have a take out, and this time what I found in the bag when I got home was just nasty. The napkins and outside of the boxes were all covered in oil.

They have big screens for the games. This place is more organized compared with the one in downtown Chicago. Service is better too. However, they do not check on you often and tend to assume you are either talking with your friend or staring at the TV screen. We want ice cold beer, not ice cold service, or experience.

I just ordered take out. Nothing worse than ordering take out just to find out when you get home that the order is wrong. You kind of forgive them because the wings are so darn good. I really think Hooters is trying to overcome its ditzy stigma with its higher quality food and service. Just get the order and you're good.

Great place to chill and eat. Of course the view is great but while at it, try the burger. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

What can I say, for a Hooters, and I've been to about 9 of them, it was solid. I had some boneless wings with the thai sauce and some onion rings. I think the chain has high consistency and is predictably good. I don't usually eat dinner at 10:45pm but it was still pretty busy.

I've only been to this Hooters and the one in Schaumburg, and while the one in Schaumburg is not bad, this one is my preference. For some reason the taste is just better here. I also prefer the set up better here.
